We designed his light steel frame home office above an existing flat roof section of the house.
Light steel frame construction allows for a light structure of precise, good quality and fast construction. This home office can also be prefabricated off-site making the construction process even faster.
This rooftop office is a serene, well lit and cozy space for anyone to enjoy waking up in the morning and getting to work without leaving one’s premises. The staircase is placed in the garden so that clients do not have to go through the house for meetings but can take the scenic route, meandering through the garden, up the stairs and into the new tranquil office space that is north facing and overlooks the beautiful garden of a suburban home.
The Covid-19 Pandemic has brought about a new era of “working-from-home” for a lot of people.
In the course of the 2020 lockdown, a client approached us to design a designated small home office space semi-detached from his main house that can be constructed in a short amount of time.
With this new separate office dedicated to working from home he qualifies for home office tax deductions which will surely provide some financial relief at the end of the tax year.
